Combined / Package Policies

  1. Brings together several different types of cover or a range of risks/perils under one policy.
  2. Can be used to provide comprehensive protection for your home and/or your business.
  3. Some combined policies are “All Risks” meaning that whatever is not specifically excluded is covered by the policy such as Assets All Risks, Plant All Risks, Erection All Risks, Contractors’ All Risks, Industrial All Risks, etc.
  4. Policies can be tailored to suit the risks of certain businesses such as shopkeepers’, hotels, and banks.
  5. For example, a shopkeeper may get a package policy covering fire, business interruption, theft, money, documents, etc.
  6. Marine Stock throughput is an all risks policy which covers goods from the time they are produced until they reach the final destination. It is a so-called “Cradle to Grave” policy.
